Note the precise fit of the tread surface under the tires. Most commercial hoists have tread surfaces approximately 16 inches wide, creating considerable interference in the work space under the vehicle, and especially in the immediate area of the wheels and suspension. Note the ‘ramp’ built of remaining angle. 2 lengths of angle, seperated by short lengths of angle welded in place. Another length across the end, with holes aligning with the bolts on the tread rail brackets, hold the ramps in place.
